Area: Northern Kuriles, Russia
Summit Elevation: 3791.68 ft (1156 m)

Volcanic Activity Summary:
A moderate eruptive activity of the volcano continues. According to visual data by volcanologists from Severo-Kurilsk, explosions send ash up to 3.0 km a.s.l., an ash cloud drift to the south of the volcano.
This eruptive activity of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 19,700 ft (6 km) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect low-flying aircraft and airport of Severo-Kurilsk.

Indonesia , Anak Krakatau :

Level of activity at level II (Waspada), since March 25, 2019. The Anak Krakatau (157 m altitude) has experienced an increase in its volcanic activity since June 18, 2018, which was followed by a series of eruptions from September 2018 to February 2019. On October 20, 2019, an eruption occurred, recorded on a seismogram of an amplitude of 48 mm with a duration of approximately 16 minutes 34 seconds.
The weather is sunny to cloudy, the wind is weak to the North and North West. The temperature is about 22.8 – 31 ° C. The volcano is covered by fog. Through video surveillance, we observed 7 gray to black eruptions up to 200 m in height and thick white smoke between 25 and 150 m above the crater.

By a seismograph, on October 20, 2019, we recorded:
7 eruption earthquake
9 earthquakes of explosion
1 shallow volcanic earthquake
1 deep volcanic earthquake
Tremor continuous amplitude 1-32 mm, dominant value 14 mm

Recommendation:
The public / tourists are not allowed to approach the crater within a radius of 2 km.

Volcano Location: S 06 deg 06 min 07 sec E 105 deg 25 min 23 sec
Area: Lampung, Indonesia
Summit Elevation: 502 FT (157 M)

Volcanic Activity Summary:
recorded eruption at 09:17 UTC (16:17 local )

Volcanic Cloud Height:
Best estimate of ash-cloud top is around 1142 FT (357 M) above sea level, may be higher than what can be observed clearly. Source of height data: ground observer.

Other Volcanic Cloud Information:
visually from cctv crater seen volcanic ash moving to north, volcanic ash white-gray thick 200 meters high from the bottom of the crater.

Remarks:
Eruption recorded on seismogram with maximum amplitude 43 mm and duration 894 second.

Guatemala , Pacaya :

Type of activity: Strombolian.
Morphology: Composite Stratovolcano
Geographical location: 14 ° 22’50˝ Latitude N; 90 ° 36’00˝ Longitude O.
Height: 2552msnm
Atmospheric conditions: Clear
Wind: North
Precipitation: 0.0 mm.

Activity:
Presence of white and sometimes blue degassing at an approximate altitude of 150 to 300 meters above the crater moving westward about 3000 meters above the village of El Patrocinio. At night and early in the morning, an incandescent reflection of lava flows moving north-west towards the Meseta revealed. Small avalanches are generated at the front of the flows, mainly where the slope is greater. Seismic stations record tremors associated with the rise of magma and gases. There are Strombolian-type explosions with a height of 10 to 25 meters above the crater.

Costa Rica , Turrialba / Poas / Rincon de la Vieja :

Daily report of the state of volcanoes. Date: 19 October 2019, Updated at: 11h24.

Turrialba Volcano:
No eruption is reported.
The seismic activity is similar to that of yesterday.
At the time of this report, the winds are blowing eastward.
No ash falls are reported. Degassing continues, with a significant increase in SO2 concentration (12.69 ppm). The CO2 / SO2 ratio was also slightly higher than yesterday (6.52), while the H2S / SO2 ratio remains relatively constant (0.30).

Poas Volcano:
No eruption is reported.
The seismic activity is similar to that of yesterday.
At the time of this report, the winds blow from the northeast.
No eruption or ashfall is reported. There is a slight decrease in SO2 concentration (3.07 ppm), which increases the CO2 / SO2 ratio (1.70). On the other hand, the H2S / SO2 ratio was constant (0.26).

In this photograph of the Poás volcano, the walls of the crater are cleaner than the previous week because the runoff removed the materials left by the eruption of September 30th. We also see a small lake that covers the area of the mouth and a drainage that goes to the northern sector of the crater, where there is still a heat point.

Rincon de la Vieja Volcano:
No eruption is reported.
The seismic activity is similar to that of yesterday.
At the time of this report, the winds are blowing eastward.
No eruption or ashfall is reported. Seismic activity similar to that of yesterday.

This photograph of the Rincon de la Vieja volcano was taken from Buenos Aires de Upala and shows an intense degassing activity of the fumaroles located inside the western flank.
