Indonesia , Anak Krakatau :

An eruption of Anak Krakatau occurred on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at 12:28 WIB. The height of the eruptive column was observed to be ± 450 m above the peak (± 607 m above sea level). The ash column was observed to be white to gray in color with moderate to thick intensity, oriented towards the Northeast. The eruption was recorded on a seismograph with a maximum amplitude of 50 mm and a duration of 32 seconds.

Kamchatka , Sheveluch :

56.64 N, 161.32 E;
Elevation 3283 m (10768 ft),
the dome elevation ~2500 m (8200 ft)
Aviation Colour Code is ORANGE

The extrusive-effusive eruption of the volcano continues. A danger of ash explosions up to 6 km (19,700 ft) a.s.l. remains. Ongoing activity could affect low-flying aircraft.

The extrusive-effusive eruption of the volcano continues: a lava is extruded out in the explosive crater of the Young Sheveluch, it is accompanied by powerful gas-steam activity, and sometimes an incandescence of the lava dome. A powerful gas-steam activity is also observed at the area of the Karan dome. Satellite data by KVERT showed a thermal anomaly over the volcano all week; on 17 November, a plume of resuspended ash extended for about 116 km to the east of the volcano.

Italy / Sicily , Etna :

Press release on the activity of Etna, November 25, 2023, 11:33 (10:33 UTC).

The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, Osservatorio Etneo, communicates that from the analysis of images from surveillance cameras, we observe that a modest Strombolian activity remains in the Southeast crater. The activity produces modest emissions of ash that disperse quickly into the atmosphere near the summit area, to the east, as indicated by the forecast model.

The average amplitude of the volcanic tremor has a variable trend over time, characterized by rapid oscillations between medium and high values. Infrasound activity has shown a slight decrease since last night, both in terms of rate of occurrence and energy of events. The sources of tremors and infrasound events remain in the Southeast crater area.
Concerning the deformations, the signals from the inclinometer network appear stable and do not show significant variations.

Further updates will be communicated shortly.

Philippines , Mayon :

MAYON VOLCANO BULLETIN 26 November 2023 8:00 AM

In the past 24-hour period, the Mayon Volcano Network recorded three (3) volcanic earthquakes, thirty-one (31) rockfall events, and one (1) pyroclastic density current event. Muddy streamflow was observed at Buyoan-Padang and Miisi river channels. The lava flows have maintained their advances to approximately 3.4 kilometers in Bonga (southeastern), 2.8 kilometers in Mi-isi (south), and 1.1 kilometers in Basud (eastern) Gullies. Rockfalls and PDCs generated by the collapse of the summit dome deposited debris still within four (4) kilometers of the crater.

Volcanic sulfur dioxide (SO2) emission averaged 1,205 tonnes/day on 24 November 2023. Short-term observations from electronic tilt and GPS monitoring indicate inflation of the northwestern upper slope since late July 2023. Longer-term ground deformation parameters from EDM, precise leveling, continuous GPS, and electronic tilt monitoring indicate that Mayon is still generally inflated relative to baseline levels.
Alert Level 3 is maintained over Mayon Volcano, which means that it is currently in a relatively high level of unrest, and hazardous eruption within weeks or even days could still be possible.

Ecuador , Reventador :

DAILY REPORT ON THE STATE OF THE REVENTADOR VOLCANO, Saturday November 25, 2023.
Information Geophysical Institute – EPN.

Surface activity level: Moderate, Surface trend: Ascending
Internal Activity Level: Moderate, Internal Trend: Ascending

Seismicity: From November 24, 2023, 11:00 a.m. to November 25, 2023, 11:00 a.m.:

The following table shows the number of seismic events from the reference station over the last 24 hours.

Explosion (EXP) 60
Long Period (LP) 11
Transmitting Tremor (TREMI) 13
Harmonic Tremor (VT) 10

Precipitation/Lahars:
Rainfall is not recorded. **In the event of heavy rains, these could remobilize the accumulated materials, generating mud and debris flows which would descend the sides of the volcano and flow into adjacent rivers.

Emissions/ash column:
Over the last 24 hours, thanks to the network of surveillance cameras, several ash emissions have been observed with heights between 400 and 1,200 meters above the level of the crater, with West, North-West and South directions. -West. Additionally, the Washington VAAC reported 2 ash emissions with heights of 1,010 meters above the crater level in West-Southwest directions.

Observation:
Thanks to the network of surveillance cameras, several episodes of incandescence were observed during the night and early in the morning, with material descending along the flanks up to 700 meters below the level of the crater. Until this report was published, the volcano remained partly cloudy.

Alert level: Orange.
