Kamchatka , Klyuchevskoy :
VOLCANO OBSERVATORY NOTICE FOR AVIATION (VONA).
Issued: May 31 ,2020
Volcano: Klyuchevskoy (CAVW #300260)
Current aviation colour code: ORANGE
Previous aviation colour code: orange
Source: KVERT
Notice Number: 2020-108
Volcano Location: N 56 deg 3 min E 160 deg 38 min
Area: Kamchatka, Russia
Summit Elevation: 15580 ft (4750 m)
Volcanic Activity Summary:
A moderate explosive-effusive eruption of the volcano continues. The Strombolian volcanic activity is observing. The lava flow continues to move on the southeastern flank of the volcano (the Apakhonchich chute), phreatic bursts accompany this process. According to satellite data, an ash plume is extending for 90 km to the south-east of the volcano.
This eruption continues. Ash explosions up to 16,400-23,000 ft (5-7 km) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect low-flying aircraft.
Volcanic cloud height:
18040-19680 ft (5500-6000 m) AMSL Time and method of ash plume/cloud height determination: 20200531/0253Z – Video data
Other volcanic cloud information:
Distance of ash plume/cloud of the volcano: 56 mi (90 km)
Direction of drift of ash plume/cloud of the volcano: SE / azimuth 136 deg
Time and method of ash plume/cloud determination: 20200531/0250Z – Himawari-8

Current Vanuatu Volcano Alert Level: Level 2
Yasur volcano activity is continuing in the Level of major unrest state. The volcanic Alert Level remains at Level 2.
New observations on the ground suggest that the Yasur volcanic activity emits plumes of volcanic gases and/or ash. With this current activity with presence of volcanic gases and/or volcanic ash around the summit crater, the danger zone remains at 600 meter around the volcanic cone.
A new small landslide in Yasur crater.
Analysis of the latest Yasur seismic data from the volcano monitoring system confirms that Yasur volcano activity remains in the level of major unrest state. The activity consists of ongoing explosions with gas plumes and/or volcanic ash. Some explosions remains intensified and volcanic projectiles or bombs may fall in and/or around the summit crater.
The Yasur Volcanic Alert Level (VAL) has been at the Level 2 since 18th October 2016. The current observations are consistent with the activity of the Volcanic Alert Level 2. Level 2 indicates ‘ Major level of unrest; Danger zone remains at 600 m around the volcanic cone ’. With this current volcanic activity, it is a useful reminder that eruptions can occur with little or no warning.

Indonesia , Merapi :
Report on the activity of the Merapi volcano, May 22-28, 2020
OBSERVATION RESULTS
Visual
The weather around Mount Merapi is generally sunny in the morning and afternoon, while in the evening until night is foggy. There is a white smoke, from thin to thick with low pressure. A maximum smoke height of 350 m was observed from the Mount Merapi observation post in Kaliurang on May 28, 2020 at 5:50 a.m.WIB.
Morphological analysis of the crater area based on photos of the Southeast sector showed no change in the morphology of the dome. The volume of the lava dome based on measurements using aerial photos with drones on February 19, 2020 was 291,000 m3.
Seismicity:
This week, the seismicity of Mount Merapi recorded:
20 emission earthquakes (DG),
18 multiple phase earthquakes (MP),
7 low frequency earthquakes (LF),
29 avalanche earthquakes (RF),
Some tectonic earthquakes (TT).
The intensity of the seismicity this week is higher than last week.
Deformation:
The deformation of G. Merapi monitored by EDM and GPS this week did not show any significant changes.
Rain and lahars:
This week, there was rain at the Mount Merapi observation post with the highest rain intensity of 51 mm / hour for 160 minutes at the Kaliurang post on May 27, 2020. There were no lahars no additional flow in the rivers that descend from Mount Merapi.
Conclusion:
Based on the results of the visual and instrumental observations, it was concluded that:
The lava dome is currently in a stable state.
The volcanic activity of Mount Merapi is still quite high and is determined by the level of activity « WASPADA ».

Mexico , Popocatepetl :
May 30, 11:00 a.m. (May 30, 4:00 p.m. GMT)
In the past 24 hours, according to the Popocatépetl volcano monitoring systems, 168 exhalations have been identified, accompanied by volcanic gases and sometimes slight amounts of ash. In addition, 367 minutes of low and medium amplitude tremors were recorded.
At the time of this report, it is possible to see the volcano, all emissions will be dispersed to the northeast.
CENAPRED urges not to get near the volcano and especially the crater, because of the danger involved in the fall of ballistic fragments and, in the event of heavy rain, to move away from the bottom of the ravines because of the danger of mud and debris.
The Popocatépetl volcanic warning signal light is in YELLOW PHASE 2.
