Eruption of Mount Agung at 17:05 WITA. The eruption was triggered by a low frequency tremor. The smoke is observed with medium, gray, thick pressure and a maximum height of about 700 m above the peak. Ashes of emissions are dissipated weakly towards the East-South-East. The eruption is still in progress. Communities must remain calm but always follow the recommendations of the PVMBG. Activity level remains at status level III (SIAGA
Communities and mountaineers / visitors / tourists must not climb or carry out any activity in the danger zone, estimated at an area of 6 km radius around Mount Agung, with an added sectoral expansion towards North-North. East, South-East and South-South-West up to 7.5 km. Hazards in these areas are dynamic and are continually assessed and can be modified at any time based on the latest observational data.
