Poas , Costa Rica :
Activity report of the Poas volcano, 27 April 2017, updated at 11: 00 hours.
Activity over the last 24 hours.
During the last 24 hours, we observed VTS and LPs earthquakes as well as a small amplitude tremor. The deformation of the earth’s crust increased and a « gushing » (emission) was reported in the morning, very similar to the previous week (Saturday, April 22 in the morning). In several respects, the situation is comparable, but not equal to the strong eruption of Saturday 22 April at 22:12, local time. The juvenile material (presence of magma) in the samples recently analyzed shows a content greater than 50%.

Turrialba , Costa Rica :
Volcanic activity of the Turrialba volcano in the last 24 hours.
The Turrialba volcano exhibits many LP-type events, and periods of harmonic tremor suggesting movement of fluids towards the surface. Crustal deformation has been maintained with rapid inflation of ~ 0.5 cm / month since the beginning of the year. The flux of SO2 (sulfur dioxide) is high, with values around 2000 t / d, the CO2 / SO2 ratio was yesterday about ~ 16, suggesting a significant deep magmatic intake.
Some exhalations were observed with low ash content, and at night there was observed a strong incandescence indicating high temperatures.
OVSICORI-A remains vigilant on volcanic activity and will publish periodic reports on the evolution of its behavior and at each major change.

Rinjani , Indonésia :
Chronology of the increase in the volcanic tremor of activity of G. Rinjani, 27 April 2017 18:30 pm.
Seismic data. Since 6:30 pm, observers from G. Rinjani observed an increase in tremor’s volcanic activity, which lasted up to 2 hours. The recorded volcanic tremor signal is identical to the last eruption of September 27, 2016 at 14:45.
G. Rinjani’s observers were invited to coordinate with the parties concerned, particularly the national parks. The recommendations on the activity status of Mount Rinjani are Level II (Waspada) where the public / visitors are requested not to move within a 1.5 km radius of the crater and the whole area of the G Barujari, zone of new product depots of the eruption of 2015-2016. A notice for aviation was submitted with the yellow color code, because despite the increase in activity that occurred, G. Rinjani observers were not observed surface Of volcanic ash.
Status and recommendation: The Rinjani is still at level II (Waspada). More intensive monitoring is conducted to assess the dynamics of Rinjani activity level.
