Colima , Mexico :
Elevation 3850 m
Based on webcam and satellite images, and information from the Mexico City MWO, the Washington VAAC reported that ash plumes from Colima rose to altitudes of 4.3-6.1 km (14,000-20,000 ft) a.s.l. during 5-6 and 8-11 October. Thermal anomalies were observed on most days; a strong hotspot consistent with lava flow was observed on 9 October.
The Colima volcano reported an increased activity in recent days.
Colima, 14 October 2016.- Between 20 pm Thursday and 2 pm on Friday, the Fuego of Colima volcano recorded the highest activity of the last few hours.
Part of the activity of the Colima volcano on 8 and 9 October 2016, observed from El Vigia, north of Colima.
There were explosions that raised columns of 1500 and 1800 meters high. Meanwhile, there was also incandescent material in the southern sector of the volcano.
This activity has caused falls of ash on the population located in the volcanic area of Colima and Jalisco.
The seismograms show that on average every hour, the volcano experienced an explosive event or an exhalation.
The hight eruptive activity involves ash fall « moderate » to the West, according to the national coordinator of civil protection, Luis Felipe Puente.
Since then, there have been several explosions that could have destroyed the dome in the crater of the volcano, located on the border of the states of Colima and Jalisco. If this happens, emissions of ash in the air would only increase.
The eruptive phase began 15 days ago and since then there has also been a continuous emission of gases and water vapor.

Activity report of the Turrialba volcano.
October 14, 2016, updated 5:00 p.m.
In the last 24 hours, the emission of ashes of the Turrialba volcano has remained roughly constant. That suggest the seismic signals of phases of varying intensity with weak pulses. The intensity of the volcanic tremor has decreased in early afternoon and remained weak despite one hour stronger, from 14: 30 am to 15:30.
When visibility was present at the beginning of the afternoon, a column of ash up to 1000m above the volcano (4300m above sea level) was observed. The scattering of ashes was very variable, but mostly to the South and Southwest. Ash falls were reported in central Turrialba, Cervantes de Alvarado, Ujarrás, Paraíso, Las Virtudes, San Jerónimo Cachí and Paraíso de Cartago.
