San Cristobal , Nicaragua :

The Nicaraguan Institute of Territorial Studies (Ineter) reported that on Saturday, between 7:39 and 8:05 pm, there was an increase in the volcanic tremort on the San Cristóbal volcano, which ended in a small gas explosion.
Volcanic activity was accompanied by an increase in RSAM values, which amounted to 300 units.

« At present, RSAM values are 50 units, no ash or volcanic matter is emitted. This type of activity (gas explosions) is part of the expected behavior of an active volcano and occurs without notice .The Ineter continues to monitor this volcano and will inform about the changes that are taking place, « the Ineter said in a statement.
(RSAM values are an indicator of the volcanic tremor).

Poas , Turrialba , Costa Rica :

Activity report of the Poás and Turrialba volcanoes until 10 September 2017, Updated at 11:00 p.m.

Volcano Poás: activity in the last 24 hours:
During the last 24 hours, the volcano has proposed a stable activity. No ash emissions were detected. The night glow had significantly decreased compared to last week. At the time of reporting, the degassing vents blow towards the south-east, with possible nuisances for the acidic magmatic gases (So2) which may occur in the central valley if the direction of the wind thus maintains. Yesterday, a strong odor of sulfur was reported in some places in Grecia.

Volcan Turrialba: activity in the last 24 hours:
During the last 24 hours, the Turrialba volcano has exhibited some isolated VT events and small tremor periods. The cloud cover of yesterday and morning did not detect ash emissions. The glow in the night seemed to intensify. The dispersion of the gas plume is mainly northward.
The Ovsicori-Una remains vigilant on seismic and volcanic activity.

Popocatepetl ,  Mexico :

September 10, 11:15 a.m. (September 10, 11:15 GMT)

In the last 24 hours, 58 low-intensity exhalations were identified through Popocatépetl volcano monitoring systems. In addition, intermittent low-amplitude harmonic tremor was recorded, accounting for a total of 70 minutes, and a volcanotectonic earthquake with magnitude M1.6.

Due to the cloudiness conditions in the area, most of the time there was no visibility to the volcano, however, during the early morning the continuous emission of volcanic gases was observed towards the northwest .

CENAPRED exhorts NOT TO COME TO the volcano and especially to the crater, due to the danger of falling ballistic fragments .

The Popocatépetl Volcanic Warning Semaphore is located in Amarillo Phase 2.
