The Karangetang, in the period of November 18 to 25, 2015 still appears visually erupting with a glowing lava dome at night, 10-25 meters high. From the main crater a thin white smoke, thick, is from about 50-200 m. The incandescent lava no longer flows, but the lava accumulations at the top of the ravines Kahetang and Batuawang are not stable, so that in case of heavy rain, it is likely to produce a lahar. The main lava flows occurred in the Batuawang ravine, over a distance of 2000 to 2500 m from the summit .

It is necessary to monitor the accumulation of lava debris that are not stabilized, occasionally slip into the ravine Batuawang and possibly out of the ravine. During the rainy season, the people who live along the shores of the Batuawang must be conscious of the appearance of these flows. There are still many villages around the Kola-Kola very vulnerable in the event of heavy rains, which are likely to bring a flood of material eruption. A lahar occurred on November 20th, 2015 at 17:23 pm in the Batuawang River, this incident was not very different from that of June 18, 2015, when the flow of volcanic material cut the highway Ulu Ondong , covered by lava over a length of about 50 meters in the village of Bebali.

Seismicity of Karangetang, during the period from 18 to 25 November 2015 showed a decrease of activity. Earthquakes dominant like the earthquake of avalanche, which are not recorded, but the tremors are often recorded with maximum amplitude ranges from 0.5 to 6 mm and shallow volcanic earthquakes (VB). Many surface earthquake began to increase, so that the effusive eruptive activity will still continue, because this type of earthquake indicates the supply of magma. The volcanic equivalent of energy data model is still relatively the same as the previous period, because the magma moves from the inside to the surface without any obstacles.
Currently, effusive eruption of Karangetang has potential lava flows and pyroclastic avalanches.

Conclusion :
The results of the analysis of instrumental data and visual evaluation until November 25, 2015 at 18:00 did not show an increase / decrease in volcanic activity significantly, so the level activity of the  Karangetang  remains at LEVEL III (Siaga).
The activity level of Karangetang will be reduced / increased again   if there is a decrease / increase in volcanic activity and will be adapted to the seriousness of the threat.

Ticsani, Perou :

Between 19 and 21 November, a group of specialists of the Observatorio Vulcanológico del Sur (OVS) ,from the Instituto Geofísico del Perú (IGP)  , moved near the volcano Ticsani to carry out new measures of temperature on different emissions centers of volcanic fumaroles located on the volcano  .
To perform this task, the Observatory had a professional   temperature sensor Raytek , modern instrument for temperature measurements in real time. Note that the temperature measurements made in 2015 in the crater of Misti,  Sabancaya and Ubinas had also used this equipment.

Thus, measurements were performed in eight fumaroles emission centers, located 1.5 km southeast of the recent dome of Ticsani  . The maximum temperature recorded was 95 ° C . « Thermal monitoring performed on the Ticsani and other volcanoes allows us to identify changes in the hydrothermal system, which is sometimes altered by the emergence of a magma body under the surface, « said Dr. Orlando Macedo, director of the Observatory.
Since August 2015, the Ticsani is the fourth volcano monitoring in real time by the OVS, currently with a telemetry station on his recent dome. Project monitoring and surveillance of this massif includes the installation of three new telemetry stations that will be installed in the coming weeks.

Popocatepetl, Mexique :

In the last 24 hours the seismic records of the surveillance system at Popocatépetl volcano registered 82 low-intensity exhalations. Also 18 explosions were registered yesterday and today . Besides, 33 minutes of low-amplitude harmonic tremor were recorded.
At night incandescence was observed over the crater increasing with some exhalations .



At the time of this report we can see the volcano with continuous emission of steam and gas in a northeasterly direction .
CENAPRED emphasizes that people SHOULD NOT go near the volcano, especially near the crater, due to the hazard caused by ballistic fragments .
This type of activity is included within the scenarios Volcanic Traffic Light Yellow Phase 2.
