Elevation 10768 ft (3283 m),
the dome elevation ~8200 ft (2500 m)
Aviation Color Code is ORANGE

A growth of the lava dome continues, moderate ash explosions, fumarolic activity and incandescence of the dome summit and hot avalanches accompanies this process. Satellite data by KVERT showed a thermal anomaly over the volcano.

Explosions from 2347 UTC on October 08 send ash up to 4-4.5 km a.s.l., and ash plume drift about 25 km to the south-east of the volcano.

Explosive-extrusive eruption of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 32,800 ft (10 km) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect international and low-flying aircraft.
Distance of ash plume/cloud of the volcano: 16 mi (25 km)
Direction of drift of ash plume/cloud of the volcano: SSE / azimuth 164 deg s.

The expulsion of incandescent material at 150 m to 200 m above the crater, some with rumblings of about 5 s and constant sounds like a train are reported.
Lava flows in the Santa Teresa  and Trinidad canyons have 900 m and 1000 m long. This is a period of increased activity after the effusive eruption which began this week, so the need to pay special attention on the development of this activity.
Therefore, the INSIVUMEH recommends:

At the SE – CONRED :
-To Take preventive measures and be in alert on the evolution of the activity if it were necessary to raise the alert level.
At the Directorate General of Civil Aviation:
Take precautions for air traffic in the volcano area due to the potential presence of ash.
